COMMISSIONS AND PRICES

HOW COMMISSIONING A PORTRAIT WORKS

  • An initial  phone call to discuss your commission, the size, medium and talk through framing options.
  • I  arrange a visit to your home where I meet your child, horse or dog, spend some time getting to know them before taking photographs to work with in the studio.  This meeting usually takes around one to two  hours and is relaxed and informal.
  • Once completed I frame your portrait so when you receive it, it is ready to hang straight on the wall.
  • Your portrait is then ready to collect, or delivery can be arranged.

Many people will commission a portrait as a gift, I am happy to supply a bespoke gift voucher on request.
If you are looking for more than one animal to be painted, I can apply a small discount.
Please note that an addtional  travel charge will  be added depending  on location. Travel is charged at the standard AA recommended rate.
The finished portrait can be collected in person, or delivery will be charged at cost, plus a  charge for safely packing and insuring your your painting while in transit. Please contact me for further information.
A 50% deposit is payable at time of commission, with the balance payable before three weeks before I start working onyour portrait.
